Rochester Climate

Rochester, Minnesota is situated on the south of Minneapolis and west of the Minnesota-Wisconsin border. Rochester has humid continental climate which exemplify extreme temperature fluctuations such as from warm to hot and humid summers (82°) and cold to harsh winters (3°).

January is the coldest month of the year with temperature dipping to 3° Fahrenheit. Temperature from day to night does not change too much in summer and in winter as well.

Average rainfall can be experienced all through the year but July gets the most rainfall with an average rainfall of 4.2 inches. Snowfall is at its greatest during the months of November and March.
