Getting to the Airport
There are several ways by which you can get to the Rochester International Airport – by driving, getting a public transport or by taxi.
If driving, follow you the following driving directions:
If coming from the north side of Rochester, drive south along Highway 52, prior to the turn leading to Highway 63 south at ext 51. Continue on driving till you reach country road 16 (Airport Exit) and then to Helgerson Drive (a mile west) which directly leads to the Rochester International Airport. If you are coming from La Cross on the east side, drive through Interstate 90 West and head to Highway 63, exiting at 209B. Continue driving north for about 3 miles until you reach Road 16, which will also bring you to Helgerson Drive leading to the Airport. If coming from Austin to the west, drive through the Interstate 90 East, go towards Highway 63, exiting at 209A. Continue driving towards the north until you reach Road 16, which will also bring you to Helgerson Drive which leads to the Airport. If you are coming from the south, drive through Highway 63 North to County Road 16 then to Helgerson Drive which leads to the airport.

Taxi services can be provided by a number of reputable can companies such as the Yellow Cab Taxi (tel: (507) 282 2222) or the Med City Taxi (tel: (507) 282 8294). The standard fare is about US$25 and will take you about 20 minutes to reach the airport.
